One Day Pingyao Ancient Town Trip from Xian by bullet train

Our Xian driver would wait you at the lobby of your hotel at 06:20am and drive you to Xian North Railway Station. (No guide service, Chinese speaking driver only). Our experienced and professional Pingyao guide would meet you at Jiexiu Station, firstly drive to visit Wang Family Compound, it is a large complex of buildings was constructed in the 18th century for a wealth family. Then we would drive you around 1 hour to Pingyao Ancient Town to have lunch. We would order you some typical Shanxi food. After lunch, we drive you to visit Zhenguo Temple, you would find that's an undiscovered gem which forgotten by local people and tourists, here you can appreciate the old Chinese architecture and amazing painted sculptures & frescos with above 1,000 years history! Finally we would bring you to walk on Pingyao Ancient Town, including the visiting to The Rishengchang Former Bank inside Pingyao Ancient Town. Our guide would give you introduction about the former bank so that you would have idea that how Pingyao became so influential and wealthy from the trade and banking. After that, we would drive you to the railway station in Pingyao Ancient Town, you would arrive there at around 6pm to catch up with the train to back to Xian. Dinner would be on your own arrangement on the train. Or we would drop you off at the supermarket before arriving the railway station and you can buy some snacks as your dinner. Our Xian driver would meet you at Xian North Railway Station and drive you back to the hotel.

Note: We choose Wang Family Compound as your one day visiting to Pingyao because it's the most convenient one and it much worthy for visiting comparing with Qiao Family Compound.
